UKNEA has spent years publishing plain-spoken guidance for escorts, agencies and clients across the UK. Our readers come to us for the practical side of the industry: how the law actually works in England, Scotland and Wales, what a safe booking looks like, how to run an agency without cutting corners, and how to look after yourself in a job most of the country would rather not talk about. If you have first-hand knowledge of that world and can write clearly, we would like to hear from you. This write for us page explains what we take, how we work with contributors, and how to get in touch.

What we publish

• Working life and wellbeing: screening, boundaries, burnout, health, and the realities of independent work.
• UK law and regulation: what is legal, what is not, and how local policing and licensing decisions affect escorts and agencies.
• Agencies and business: setting up, advertising honestly, payments, banking and record keeping.
• Companionship and dating culture: etiquette, first meetings, and what clients and companions should expect from each other.
• Adult industry news: platform changes, payment processor policy, court rulings and campaigns that affect UK workers.
• Nightlife and travel: city guides, touring safely, and hotels and venues that are discreet and welcoming.

Guest posts and sponsored articles

We accept two kinds of contributed content. A guest post is an editorial piece we run because it is useful to our readers; no money changes hands either way. A sponsored post is a paid placement for a business that wants to reach the UK escort and companionship audience: agencies, directories, photographers, accountants who understand the industry, security and screening services, and similar. Sponsored articles are marked as such where disclosure is required, and they still have to be worth reading.

Our link policy is simple. Any link inside the editorial body of a published piece is a permanent, indexed, dofollow link. We do not remove articles later, we do not swap links after publication, and we do not put contributed pieces behind a paywall or a noindex tag. One or two relevant links per article is the norm. Pricing for sponsored placements is available on request: email us with the topic and the site you want to link to and we will reply with a quote. Typical turnaround from accepted draft to live page is three to five working days.

Guidelines

Our contributor guidelines are short, and we do apply them.

• Original work only. Nothing that has appeared elsewhere, including on your own site, and nothing spun or machine-padded. We check.
• Length: 800 words or more. Shorter pieces rarely have enough substance for our readers.
• Adult industry topics are accepted, within limits. We publish about escorting, companionship, adult work and the businesses around them. We do not publish explicit content, anything that describes or promotes illegal activity, or anything involving a person under 18. Gambling and pharmaceutical content is not accepted, sponsored or otherwise.
• UK focus. Our readers are here. If you are writing about law, be precise about which nation's law you mean.
• Links: one or two relevant links to reputable sites. No link farms, no affiliate-only pages, no sites we would not send our own readers to.
• Author bio is optional. Two sentences at most. A pen name is fine, and we will not publish personal details you do not want public.
• We edit. Every piece goes through our editor for house style, clarity and legal sense. We will tell you if the changes are more than cosmetic.
• 18+. This site is for adults. Contributors must be over 18 and content must be written for an adult audience without being explicit.

How to pitch

Send a short pitch, two or three sentences on the angle and why our readers need it, plus a link to something you have written before, to [email protected]. Use the subject line "Guest post: <topic>". A complete draft is welcome but not required. If you are asking about a sponsored post, say so in the first line and include the site you want to link to. We aim to reply within a few working days, and if the answer is no we will say so rather than leave you waiting.
